Sherman Kiwanis was founded in 1924 . The club began with just 10 members and has grown to its current membership of 58 . Over the years, the club has held many fundraisers, including Kiwanis Pancake Day, Austin College concessions, Kiwanis Red River Bike Rally, and other events.  Our fundraising dollars are donated 100% to help the many Sherman Kiwanis Charities.  Our club dues support the actual operation of our club.

    We help out in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups, raising money to benefit children and children’s support groups, and providing college scholarships to several Sherman High School seniors. 

    The club has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from fields like accounting, medicine, civil service, education, management, and many more.  The major companies of Sherman, as well
